Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our client’s team. The role involves ensuring quality standards and compliance are maintained throughout project execution—covering inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with clients and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), and method statements.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
- Conduct inspections for materials, welding, NDT, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
- Coordinate with clients, third-party inspectors, and subcontractors for quality-related matters.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, reports, and records.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
- Provide support in audits, certifications, and project handover documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Construction projects.
- Knowledge of relevant codes & standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, AWS, etc.).
- Certification in CSWIP, AWS, NDT Level II, and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
